Driveway sealing
A cleaned, dried driveway sealed against water, salt and tire marks.
St. Louis is hard on bare concrete. Water soaks into the surface, freezes, and pops out small pits that grow every winter. Road salt speeds it up, and oil or rust that lands on unsealed concrete sinks in before you can catch it. Sealing closes the surface so water beads off, salt stays out, and spills wipe up instead of soaking in.
The order of operations matters. A sealer locks in whatever is underneath it, so we always clean the surface first and let it dry completely before anything goes down. From there you choose the look: a natural finish that keeps the concrete looking like concrete, or an enhanced finish that deepens the color the way a wet surface does.
Pavers get the most out of sealing. We re-sand the joints where they need it, and the sealer hardens that sand in place, which keeps weeds from rooting and keeps the pattern tight. Done every few years, sealing is the cheapest way to protect the flatwork you have already invested in.

Good to know
Most driveways and patios go three to five years between coats, depending on traffic and sun exposure. Pavers are similar. We will tell you honestly what your surface needs.
Yes, always. A sealer locks in whatever is under it, including stains and algae. We clean the surface, let it dry fully, and then seal it.
Foot traffic is usually fine within a few hours. We recommend keeping vehicles off a sealed driveway for at least 24 hours, and we will give you exact timing for the product we use.
